QuickStart: Startup Food Co-op Board Training
QuickStart Board Training is a virtual FCI Classroom class created made up of eight individual lessons.
QuickStart was designed for the needs of new startup food co-op board members. It’s intended to help newly elected startup board members get up to speed fast on the basics of the responsibilities of a working board of a startup food co-op and on the startup food co-op development model. This class was designed for active board members of startup food co-ops working on opening brick-and-mortar, cooperatively-owned, grocery stores. This class is not appropriate for board members of open and operating food co-ops, as their boards are governing, rather than working, boards.
